Radisson Hotel Tianjin Aqua City has opened its doors, introducing another exciting Radisson branded upscale hotel to one of China’s most important ports.

Situated in the heart of Tianjin and directly connected to the Aqua City lifestyle mall, Radisson Hotel Tianjin Aqua City is surrounded by popular tourist attractions such as Tianjin Ancient Culture Street, the Drum Tower, Great Mercy Temple and Italian Street. It is also 25km from Tianjin Binhai International Airport and just 2km from Tianjin West Railway Station, which is a key stop on the high-speed railway line between Beijing and Shanghai.

Newly opened on 22nd November 2021, this urban hotel features 263 rooms and suites with contemporary interiors, modern amenities and refreshing bathrooms. The hotel also has a strong MICE element, with eight function rooms covering 1,600 square meters of floorspace, including a 710sqm pillar-free grand ballroom, all supported by audio-visual technology and professional services.

Guests can unwind at the indoor pool, fitness center, sauna and steam room, savor delicious Chinese and international cuisine at the all-day dining restaurant, or simply relax with refreshing beverages and light bites at the lobby lounge. Eligible guests can enjoy exclusive benefits, such as private check-in and check-out, daily breakfast, daytime refreshments and evening drinks at the Executive Lounge, and every stay is underpinned by Radisson’s signature “Yes I Can” service philosophy.

“I am delighted to reveal Radisson Hotel Tianjin Aqua City as the latest addition to our rapidly-growing portfolio in China. Tianjin is an important tier one city and industrial hub that will continue to grow in global importance in the coming years. This excellent hotel will enable even more business and leisure travelers to experience Radisson’s international standards of upscale hospitality,” said Gary Ye, Vice President, Operations, China, Radisson Hotel Group.

Radisson Hotel Tianjin Aqua City becomes the second Radisson branded hotel in Tianjin, a vibrant port city which is home to more than 12 million people. The city is a major center for shipping, car manufacturing, aerospace, petrochemicals and more, which creates significant demand for high-quality accommodation, amenities, and facilities. Radisson is perfectly positioned to meet this need.

This opening forms part of Radisson Hotel Group’s multi-brand expansion strategy in China, which encompasses key cities, provincial capitals, resort destinations, transport hubs, amusement parks, industrial zones and retail areas all across the country. In total, Radisson Hotel Group now has more than 70 Radisson hotels in operation or under development across Asia Pacific.
