Robb Monkman to remain on React Mobile Board of Directors; Shift in corporate strategy expected to catapult growth and extend the employee safety device platform to other verticals
Seattle, WA — June 3, 2021 — Hospitality employee safety device leader React Mobile today announced its Chief Executive Officer Robb Monkman has resigned. Monkman will remain on the Board of Directors and assist with steering company growth. Board member John Stachowiak, a three-time CEO and four-time CFO, will fill the post in the interim. A search for a permanent React Mobile CEO is underway.
Stachowiak is an accomplished senior executive with more than 25 years’ experience in finance and strategic management. He has held numerous Board positions, including serving as Chairman of the Board and CEO of STAR 21 Networks AG, and joined the React Mobile Board of Directors in 2019.
“The impact of COVID-19 has pushed the Board of Directors to expand React Mobile’s corporate strategy,” Stachowiak said. “Although React Mobile has more employee safety device deployments than any other vendor in the hotel space with installations at some of the largest brands and hotels in the world, we will be extending our reach to all market segments, including hospitality, education, and healthcare. Soon we will announce new strategic partnerships for each segment and continue to release new software updates designed to deliver the highest reliability for panic buttons and location accuracy for beacons.
“We would like to thank Robb for his leadership and dedication to making the workplace safer for all employees, and we value his continued guidance as a React Mobile Board member,” he said. “The Board is confident that this new corporate strategy will enhance our performance in the hospitality space as we remain the No. 1 choice among large hospitality chains, REITS, and other management groups for safety solutions that protect their employees.”
