OCEAN CITY, MD (September 3, 2015) – Real Hospitality Group (RHG) is proud to announce the official opening of Bethany Beach Ocean Suites. Designed by Distinctive Hospitality Designs, this new luxury hotel on Delaware’s Atlantic Coast is a collection of 112 suites and the first full-service property located directly on Bethany Beach.
Bethany Beach Ocean Suites brings a unique alternative to the area’s residential rental market; the hotel has a full-service spa, oceanfront dining and 4,400 square feet of meeting and event space. Premium accommodations and amenities are accompanied by quiet respite between the bustling retail offerings in Rehoboth Beach, DE, and Ocean City, MD.
“Bethany Beach Ocean Suites provides an entirely new breath of fresh air to the area and we’re both proud and excited to be part of that,” says Patrick Staib, a Delaware native and General Manager. “The property perfectly complements the surrounding community and the feedback we’ve been receiving from guests has been phenomenal.”
The property boasts private balconies on each of their 112 suites, many of which overlook the Atlantic Ocean or Bethany Beach Boardwalk. Spacious accommodations include kitchenettes, flat-screen TVs, luxurious linens, Paul Mitchell amenities and pull-out couches. Clean, neutral interiors reflecting coastal touches are found in the suites and throughout the property. The interior design efforts hone nautical accents such as beach photography, vibrant turquoise hues and porthole-inspired hanging mirrors.
Property-wide complimentary Wi-Fi extends onto the beach so guests can stay connected as they swim, sun and surf. The saltwater pool has a retractable roof with year-round events and wellness programming including poolside yoga and meditation. Children’s activities are abundant, with arts & crafts as well as carnival game nights to keep the youngest guests engaged.
Signature restaurant 99 Sea Level is named for the destination’s address at 99 Hollywood Street but its commitment to its locale extends beyond a catchy moniker. Chef Danio Samosa has partnered with nearby farms and fisheries to create seasonal, new American menus with locally grown and raised produce, meats and seafood. Many dishes are designed for sharing, such as a signature seafood tower and a seafood-inspired starters menu. Other menu items include Purple Spinach & Arugula Salads with Prosciutto, Melon Wedges and Sherry Vinaigrette; Miso-Glazed Halibut with Gingered Carrots; and Honey-Glazed, Brome Lake Duck Breasts with Shiitake Mushroom Sauce. The oceanfront restaurant also offers premier dining directly on the boardwalk, another first for Bethany Beach.
Guests can enjoy the boat-shaped bar at 99 Sea Level which has a built-in raw bar, offering mid-Atlantic clams and oysters. A lively happy hour takes place each day. The bar’s menu includes a variety of local craft beers, wines, plus cocktails infused with house-made syrups, tonics and seasonal fruit juices. In the dining room and at the bar, dessert wines are served in chocolate-dipped stemware.
The Spa by Oceanova offers various body treatments, facials, beauty and salon services which utilize natural products befitting the beachfront locale. The 99 Hollywood is a popular choice amongst guests, which uses oxygen, peptides, botanicals and plant-derived stem cells to immediately reveal refreshed skin. Vitamin C-centric facials such as the Beach Glow reduces signs of sun damage, blemish marks and hormonal influences. The signature Seaweed Gel Wrap hydrates and detoxifies while various massage offerings like Two If By Sea is customized for couples and spans deep tissue, hot stone, relaxation and reflexology.
Meeting and event space at Bethany Beach Ocean Suites include a Grand Ballroom for up to 300 people, a 12-person executive boardroom and 52-person conference room. Meetings can be customized with LCD projectors or monitors, plus personalized healthy menus, team-building exercises and beach activities. In addition to dedicated event planners, the hotel has destination wedding specialist to organize year-round ceremonies, rehearsal dinners and receptions.
