YUBA CITY, CALIF., February 26, 2024 – Red Roof®, the leader in economy lodging, has announced the opening of the dual-branded HomeTowne Studios® Yuba City and Red Roof Inn® Yuba City at 1001 Clark Ave., in Yuba City, Calif.
The HomeTowne Studios Yuba City is a 76-room extended-stay hotel that offers kitchens with full-sized refrigerators, microwaves, stove tops, and activity tables with chairs. The hotel also offers weekly housekeeping and kitchen kits available for purchase at the front desk.
The Red Roof Inn Yuba City is a 43-room hotel located adjacent to the HomeTowne Studios property and the two hotels offer free Wi-Fi, coin laundry, free coffee in the lobby, free long-distance calling, a fitness facility, free continental breakfast, an outdoor hot tub and a seasonal pool.
As part of the conversion, both properties received new bedding, refreshed bathrooms and a new pet-relief area.
Owners Surendra and Hema Patel of Greenleaf Hospitality, LLC, are longtime hospitality veterans from the San Francisco Bay area who have owned multiple hotels during the past 30 years. They chose Red Roof because they believe in the brand and the brand’s focus.

The HomeTowne Studios Yuba City and Red Roof Inn Yuba City are located near a number of area landmarks and destinations, including Sutter Buttes, Toyota Amphitheatre, Bonanza Convention Center, Beale Air Force Base, Rideout Memorial Hospital and Thunder Valley Casino. A number of airports, including Yuba County Airport (MYV), Auburn Municipal Airport (AUN) and Sacramento International Airport (SMF), are a short drive away.
