Chongqing, China (June 29, 2016) – Regent Chongqing is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Roger Marcz as the General Manager.
Born and raised in Switzerland, Mr. Roger Marcz brings nearly 40 years of international luxury hotel management experience with famous hotel brands including Jumeirah which manages BurjAl-Arab Dubai, Mandarin Oriental, The Ritz-Carlton and most recently Wanda Hotels & Resorts. As a senior hotel leader, he also worked for Regent for nearly 10 years.
With his rich experience and strong leadership, Mr. Marcz will create a new brilliance in this position as the General Manager at Regent Chongqing, and he will lead this luxury brand hotel to Chongqing and to achieve a new milestone.
Regent Chongqing is slated to open October 2016 at the Jiangbeizui financial center in Chongqing. Designed for the upscale business traveler, the spacious property will feature a total of 202 rooms, with an average area of 55 square meters per deluxe room for guests to enjoy the panoramic and breathtaking views of the Jialing river and Yuzhong Peninsular in comfort. The hotel’s comprehensive facilities will include 4 restaurants, state-of-the-art meeting and event venues with a Regent Ballroom where guests can enjoy 270 degree panoramic river views. The hotel will also boast a business centre and the Regent Club, dedicated to the needs of the high-end business guests, as well as sanctuaries devoted to fitness and wellness pursuits.
