HITEC North America will be held June 24–27 at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina
Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®), producers of the Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC®), has announced that attendee registration for this year’s North American event is now open alongside hotel reservations via HITEC’s official housing service.
HITEC is the largest and longest-running show of its kind. Annually, HITEC highlights the industry’s tech trends and current approach to integrating solutions into the hospitality sphere. HITEC in Charlotte is set to run from June 24–27 at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina USA. The exhibit hall hosts over 300 companies displaying a range of products and services to support the hospitality technology industry to more than 4,500 industry professionals in attendance.
HFTP’s commitment to innovation and cutting-edge technology is the driving force behind HITEC’s triumph. This makes HITEC the premier platform for shaping the future of hospitality technology through education and collaboration as it has been for over half a century. HFTP CEO Frank Wolfe, CAE
Beyond the show floor, HITEC Charlotte will also play host to an education program planned by the HITEC Advisory Council, a group of industry practitioners and experts selected by HFTP leadership for their experience and expertise. This year’s council is co-chaired by Katie Lee, Chief Information Officer for AKA Hotels + Hotel Residences and McLean Xavier, CHTP+, Chief Information Officer for Innvest Hotels. For the first time in 2024, a call for presentations has been open since late last year inviting industry thought leaders to submit their event-exclusive session ideas to the council for approval. The submission period ends at midnight tonight, January 10.
The HITEC community reaches far and wide throughout the global hospitality industry, advantageously giving us access to the most innovative industry practices. By opening up the program planning with the call for presentation proposals, we extend our range of expertise and ensure we capture the latest and most interesting technology developments for the 2024 program. 2023 council co-chair Shannon McCallum
Exhibit hall space is 78 percent reserved with general sales still open for the remaining space (sales@hftp.org). For more information about HFTP’s events, visit the association website or contact the HFTP Meeting & Events Department at education@hftp.org.
