Dallas, TX — May 24, 2023 — Remington Hotels, a dynamic hotel management company that manages over 115 hotels, has elevated former Executive Vice President of Business Development Keith Oltchick to Chief Development Officer. In this elevated role, Keith will lead the execution of the overall business development vision, strategy, plans, and processes to increase revenue, expand markets and ensure Remington accomplishes financial objectives.
“Keith is one of the most talented people I’ve had the pleasure of working with in my career,” said Remington Hotels CEO Sloan Dean. “He was the natural choice for chief development officer, and he has taken the company and his team to new heights in a very short timeframe. His exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication to propelling Remington to become the best management company are unparalleled.”
Oltchick joined Remington in 2020 with over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, focused on acquiring and developing properties all over the United States and the Caribbean. Keith was promoted to Executive Vice President of Business Development in March 2022. His primary focus was to expand Remington’s third-party management platform by sourcing new management opportunities, acquiring hotels, and leading the effort to develop new properties with our institutional partners.
“Receiving the promotion to Chief Development Officer is an incredible honor that fills me with profound excitement,” said Keith Oltchick. “It is both a testament to my respect for this remarkable company and an opportunity to propel it forward to new heights of success. I am eager to lead the charge in shaping the future of Remington, leveraging my passion and expertise to cultivate unparalleled growth and create extraordinary experiences for our valued guests, associates, and brand partners.”
Before joining Remington, Oltchick held similar acquisition and development roles with the Pyramid Hotel Group and Hersha Hospitality Trust. He started his hospitality career at Marriott International, where he held several positions in finance and feasibility. These roles focused on capital oversight for Marriott’s managed hotel portfolios, rolling out new brand initiatives, and determining the feasibility of new hotels in the system.
