Bangkok – 5 June 2017– Renaissance Hotels has announced the appointment of Saurabh Kukreja as General Manager at the soon-to-launch Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa.
A graduate in Hospitality Management, Mr. Kukreja also holds an MBA from renowned hospitality school, Institut Vatel in France. He boasts considerable luxury experience, with his career to date spanning 14 years, with roles in both Asia and Europe. Having started his career in Front Office, he has since held various management and general management positions at different luxury properties, including prestigious London hotels, The Savoy, The Berkeley and The Bentley. His last role in Thailand was at the Amari Watergate in Bangkok in 2014. Before returning to Thailand, Kukreja was the General Manager at Crimson Hotel Filinvest City in Manila, Philippines.
In his new role, Mr. Kukreja will take overall responsibility for the operations of the 257-room resort and ensure that this new development will fully deliver on customer and business expectations. His expertise and range of operational experience will further support the inaugural positioning of the Renaissance brand in Pattaya.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Kukreja said:

Renaissance Pattaya will offer some of the city’s most comfortable accommodation, including chic Pool Villas and spacious Family Suites. Recreational facilities will include two outdoor swimming pools, a kids pool, kids club and a luxury spa. Located in the attractive and tranquil Jomtien district, the low-rise resort will offer a fashionable beachfront retreat within easy reach of the town’s attractions. The property is scheduled to open on the 1st August 2017.
