Philadelphia, PA – August 13, 2021 – ROAR for Good, a leading technology company for hotel worker safety, has hired Peter Klebanoff as Senior Vice President, Business Development.
Klebanoff, who had been a full-time sales consultant for the last six years, specializes in the development of marketing and sales strategies that accelerate growth for technology companies of varying size. In this new role, he will implement a strategy to increase market share within the hospitality industry, gather intelligence to improve the platform, build out the sales force, and penetrate new verticals, such as healthcare.
“We are ecstatic to have Peter on the team. His deep domain expertise in security and sales is not only a benefit to us, but the hotel industry as it intensifies the adoption of staff safety technology solutions,” said ROAR for Good Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Yasmine Mustafa. “His ability to recognize opportunities and leverage an existing network of relationships will be critical as we prepare for our next stage of growth.”
Klebanoff brings decades of insight and industry relationships to the team, serving 16 years as a director and vice president at LodgeNet Interactive (now SONIFI Solutions) where he worked with clients to improve the hotel guest experience with technology. He has formed partnerships with major brands and engineered marketing plans to support the adoption and implementation of new products. Klebanoff has also overseen the design and installation of security technology for the U.S. government and helped develop one of the first guides for preventing infant abduction with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
Klebanoff was asked by Hospitality Technology Next Generation (HTNG) to help start an advocacy group on panic buttons and he is also a practicing law enforcement officer. He believes that employee duress is a category that crosses into other industries as well.
“It’s no surprise that hotel operators struggle with financial decisions impacting their budgets, especially coming off the 18 months we’ve just had,” said Klebanoff. “However, the return on investment for staff safety technology is incalculable, when you factor in the peace of mind it delivers to hardworking housekeepers and back of the house employees thereby reducing turnover and workman’s comp claims. I’m excited to join the talented team at ROAR for Good, as the company’s technology is the most advanced among its competitors on the market.
He added, “I’ve spent most of my career representing some of the most innovative technologies for a variety of use cases, and this is the best tech for employee safety with a progressive vision and a mission to make the world safer.”
One of Klebanoff’s first priorities will be to audit existing sales practices and to recruit additional associates. He will also represent the Company at key industry trade shows, such as HITEC in Dallas next month where the AlwaysOn™ solution will be on display in Booth # 2525.
ROAR for Good’s AlwaysOn™ staff safety platform operates on a patented highly-calibrated mesh network of nodes which ensure continuous, reliable communication of alerts from the staff, reducing threats of violence or workplace injury. The company recently expanded to new markets and has experienced a record-setting pace of technology deployments in recent months. The woman-owned business supports an industry in which 88% of housekeepers are female (according to Statista).
