Rohit Radhakrishnan joins the Embassy Suites team with more than a decade of experience
ASHEVILLE, N.C. – August 24, 2023 – Rohit Radhakrishnan has been named as the general manager of Embassy Suites by Hilton Asheville Downtown. The 188-room hotel, owned and managed by Parks Hospitality Group, will open at 192 Haywood St. in winter 2023.
Radhakrishnan will lead the team in all aspects of hotel operations and guest experience.

Prior to joining Embassy Suites by Hilton Asheville Downtown, Radhakrishnan was the general manager of multiple hotels within and outside of the Hilton family. Most recently, Radhakrishnan was the general manager at Embassy Suites Knoxville West, where he consistently secured an outstanding quality assurance (QA) audit of 90 or more and collaborated with the food and beverage team to develop new ideas, such as curating the hotel’s menu to offer more kid-friendly and allergen-friendly options and elevating the hotel’s bourbon offerings for an increase of 38% in liquor sales. Radhakrishnan is also an active part of the community, and in January 2023, he participated in the Walk 100 Miles Challenge for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, surpassing his goal of $250 and keeping in line with Hilton’s overall service culture and giving back philosophy.
