Broadens its Suite of Solutions to Meet Rising Demand for Mobile Solutions in the Hotel Industry
SAN FRANCISCO – October 21, 2015 – RoomKey Technologies Inc., the leading mobile solution for hotel guest services, has changed its name to Ve-Go Technologies, Inc. and rebranded its flagship product to VeGoKey, as it accelerates the process of mobile room key adoption at hotels in key markets across the country.
Ve-Go Technologies will expand their suite of enterprise-grade, SaaS mobile solutions to develop seamless guest facing and back of the house mobile touchpoints, in conjunction with industry-leading IT providers.
As part of the rebrand, the flagship mobile app, RoomKey will be named VeGoKey to coincide with the parent brand and suite of upcoming products, as well as chart its own path as a consumer brand.
VeGoKey offers:
- A direct mobile booking channel with guaranteed rates & room types
- Seamless room section and mobile check in via mobile device, prior to arrival
- Keyless entry, using a smartphone as the room key to skip the front desk
- Integrates with major hotel door lock providers (Assa Abloy, Kaba)
- Integrates with leading PMS systems including Oracle Hospitality (Opera)
“As we move forward, the opportunity to enhance not only the customer experience, but also the technology stack in the hospitality IT ecosystem has led us to rebrand our flagship mobile app product to VeGoKey. Forget Room Keys, you need VeGoKey,” said Ve-Go Technologies CEO Vikas Bhakta. “VeGoKey provides a complete mobile solution that lets hotels capitalize on the mobile trend seamlessly and cost-effectively.”
Industry leaders such as Menin Hospitality and Morgans Hotel Group have turned to VeGoKey as a solution for lower distribution costs as well as traveler-friendly mobile check in, room selection and smartphone roomkeys.
To spur its rapid expansion, Ve-Go Technologies recently announced a $1million round of seed funding led by investors including 500 Startups and 500 Mobile Collective. Based in San Francisco, Ve-Go Technologies is rapidly onboarding upscale independent, boutique and lifestyle hotels in key US markets to provide mobile services, including a direct mobile booking channel, mobile check-in and smartphone room keys.
