(July 16, 2018) – HALCYON, a hotel in Cherry Creek is proud to announce the appointment of Kim Corrigan as general manager of the 154-room hotel that captures the spirit of the treasured Colorado lifestyle in one of Denver’s chicest neighborhoods. With over three decades of management experience in the hospitality industry, Corrigan brings a refined expertise to her new position with a promise to bring authenticity, exclusivity and individuality to the guest experience.

As general manager, Corrigan will be responsible for the overall operations, performance, and strategic direction while bringing a new perspective to the hotel. Prior to joining Halcyon, Corrigan successfully transitioned the Conrad Chicago to a Starwood Luxury Collection hotel brand, relaunching the property as The Gwen. In this role as general manager, she also spearheaded implementation of a new management company for the property in DiamondRock Hospitality. During her time at The Blackstone Renaissance Hotel in Chicago, she was recognized by the Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association as the 2014 Hotelier of the Year for the Greater Chicagoland Area. Other notable properties where Corrigan has held key leadership roles include The Curtis in Denver, Trump Taj Mahal, Merv Griffin’s Casino Hotel, and Bally’s Grand Casino Hotel.
Corrigan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University, and also received her Certified Hotel Administrator degree from the Educational Institute.
