CHERRY CREEK, Colo. (June 23, 2016) – Sage Hospitality, one of the nation’s largest hotel development, investment and management companies, is thrilled to announce two promotions from within its company to its dynamic leadership team at Halcyon – a hotel in Cherry Creek. Anne Frye has been appointed as director of sales and Cindy Bedan will stand at the helm as general manager of Denver’s newest luxury lifestyle hotel, set to open August 2016.
“We’re thrilled to welcome such proven veterans of the industry to Denver’s newest hotel endeavor, Halcyon,” said Frederick Kleisner II, regional vice president of operations for the premier and lifestyle division of Sage Hospitality. “Both women are recognized leaders in the industry and their expertise will be invaluable to branding, launching and operating the hotel.”

Bedan joined Sage in 2003 and proceeded to lead over 20 hotel transitions, openings and task force projects. Most recently, she served as the interim General Manager at the Eilan Hotel & Spa, the first ever Sage transition of The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago, and lastly the Area General Manager over seven Sage assets. Bedan has more than 16 years in hotel management, embracing a true and authentic expertise resulting in her long-standing success. She continues to be an active member of the community, volunteering and supporting the efforts of The Alzheimer’s Association, CASA, Denver Dumb Friends League, National Jewish Hospital and Denver Health’s Newborn’s in Need program.
Furthermore, Frye began her tenure with Sage in April 2012 as the opening Director of Sales and Marketing for SpringHill Suites by Marriott Denver Downtown at MSU Denver. Throughout her time with Sage Hospitality, she has been an active member of the community including affiliate faculty at the Metropolitan State University of Denver, Downtown Denver Partnership Awards Jury Member, U.S. Green Building Council – Colorado Chapter Board Member, and Rocky Mountain Business Travel Association Political Action Committee Liaison.
