Sage Hospitality Group announced today the addition of Continuum, a boutique independent hotel in Teton Village, Wyoming, to its portfolio of managed properties.
“We are beyond excited to welcome this unique hotel into our independent hotel portfolio,” said Daniel del Olmo, President and COO of Sage Hotel Management, a Sage Hospitality Group company. “Our team thrives when getting to work with hotels that focus on creating a truly unique guest experience. In the case of Continuum, we will aim to deliver the joy of adventure and inspire the adventurer in everyone. And for that reason, we saw Continuum as a perfect fit for Sage and are excited for the incredible potential of this very special asset.”
Continuum, located at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in the heart of Teton Village and just steps from the resort’s legendary aerial tram, is undeniably the perfect home base for the mountain adventurist. The 90-room property underwent a complete renovation and expansion, led by Powerstrip Studio designers Dayna Lee and Ted Berner and Prospect Studio architects John Carney and Danny Wicke, reopening as Continuum in December 2019. The hotel offers rooms and lofts, an outdoor heated pool and hot tub and a lobby bar that serves as a social hub for Teton Village.
“We have envisioned the guest experience at Continuum to leave our guests with memories of their adventures and time in Jackson that will last a lifetime,” said David Gibson of hotel owner Molokai Hospitality. “We look forward to working with the Sage team to continue to bring our vision to life and create unforgettable memories for the guests of the hotel.”
The property boasts unique partnership with Teton Gravity Research, an action sports media company committed to fueling progression through its films and website. The hotel shares its name with the company’s first film, which launched TGR on its journey to becoming a torchbearer for all that is action sports culture. TGR, born in Jackson Hole, brings its love for adventure as it collaborates to inspire the Continuum guest experience.
“Continuum returns TGR to Teton Village and offers us an opportunity to extend our brand to hospitality,” said Steve Jones, who co-founded TGR with his brother Todd Jones. “We look forward to working with Sage to enhance the Continuum guest experience.”
While the hotel will join the Sage Hotel Management portfolio, each of the four companies within Sage Hospitality Group will contribute to the future success of Continuum. Sage’s branding and creative arm, Sage Studio, will work closely with ownership and the hotel team to truly bring the unique Continuum story to life and find opportunities to create new and exceptional experiences. Sage Investments will be making an investment in the property and will provide operational teams with guidance on how to always “think like an owner yet act like a partner.” Sage Restaurant Concepts will oversee food and beverage operations at Continuum, bringing their specific operational expertise to the property. And lastly, Sage Hotel Management, which has a proven track record of achieving operational excellence and delivering the best in experiential hospitality at properties within the independent, soft-branded and lifestyle segment, will bring its depth of knowledge to the operation of the property.
