AVENTURA, FL (November 19, 2014) – Turnberry Isle Miami, South Florida’s legendary resort, today debuted 119 renovated guest rooms and suites in the resort’s Hibiscus Building. The room enhancements elevate the luxury experience for guests, offering lighter, brighter contemporary furnishings and new deluxe mattresses, bedding and in-room amenities.
The room re-design was led by Forrest Perkins, an award-winning hotel interior design firm that specializes in luxury and landmark hotels, resorts and spas. In addition, the exterior of the building was refreshed with a fresh coat of paint and new roof. These new updates match the level of design and thoughtfulness showcased throughout the resort, from its lush tropical surroundings, two award-winning golf courses and exceptional activities and amenities to its personalized service and innovative culinary offerings.

Boasting private sweeping balconies and stunning views of the resort’s golf courses, pools and tropical grounds, the spacious guest rooms are some of South Florida’s largest, ranging from 550-750 square feet. The revitalized rooms have been given new life with a modern, neutral color palette and pops of color. They received new carpeting, drapes and shears, setting the stage for contemporary and luxurious sofas and reupholstered chairs in a neutral textured tone. New hanging light pendants, fixtures and floor-to-ceiling mirrors create luminous light and space, and all rooms are furnished with new contemporary artwork, highlighting South Florida’s vibrant Tropical scenery. Upgraded in-room coffee and side tables feature contemporary glass and silver design elements, while computer desks were refurbished with chic, modern ivory desk chairs and design-forward chrome and marble desk lamps.
Turnberry Isle Miami guests will enjoy the hotel’s new custom mattresses and box springs by Serta™, contemporary headboards, 300-thread-count sheets and new bed-side benches. Every guest room now includes 47″ Flat Screen TVs and iHome Clock Radios with the latest Bluetooth technology, personal Keurig® Coffee Machines and bathroom amenities by Natura Bissé.
Further enhancing the beautiful terrace views from every guest room, new weather-resistant outdoor patio furniture naturally complements the resort’s lush tropical surroundings.
