COVINGTON, KY — October 17, 2023 – Michael Hogan has been named as the new general manager of Cincinnati Marriott at RiverCenter. Located at 10 West RiverCenter Blvd in Covington, Kentucky, the 321-room hotel is managed by Spire Hospitality.
After graduating with a degree in Hospitality Management from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, Hogan started his career with Hyatt Hotels as an assistant executive housekeeper at Hyatt Regency Atlanta. He then spent the next nine years with Hyatt in Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, and San Antonio, TX.

His enthusiasm for the industry and his experience working at with the Marriott Hotels brand other premium hotels make him the perfect choice for this role.”
In 2009, he joined Winegardner and Hammons as assistant general manager of Marriott Birmingham and shortly thereafter became general manager of Residence Inn Winston-Salem. Since then, he’s been general manager at Embassy Suites by Hilton Lexingtonand Marriott Cincinnati Northeast and Renaissance Cincinnati Downtown Hotel.
Hogan will serve as the team’s leader in all facets of operations, including marketing, hotel oversight, and guest services and satisfaction.

Outside of the hotel, Hogan loves being outdoors either bike riding, kayaking, fishing, working in his yard or exploring small towns with his wife of 18 years, Jill. He and Jill have two daughters, Barrett and Avery.
