GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Embassy Suites by Hilton Downtown Grand Rapids, owned and operated by Suburban Inns, today announced Brian Behler has been appointed as the hotel’s new general manager. Embassy Suites by Hilton is a global brand of upscale, all-suite hotels from Hilton (NYSE: HLT).
The seven-story, 250-suite hotel is located at 710 Monroe Ave. The property is currently under construction and is scheduled to open April 2019. As general manager, Behler will be responsible for directing all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, hotel administration and overseeing marketing efforts.

Prior to joining Embassy Suites by Hilton Grand Rapids Downtown, Behler was general manager of another full-service hotel in Grand Rapids. He is a graduate of Davenport University and holds a degree in Business Administration and Management.
