Christy’s years of experience in sales and marketing mean that the property can continue to provide the best sales service possible. Sugar Beach is thrilled that Christy brings extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of Leisure Sales, and she is no stranger to the Caribbean. Previously she also gained experience as the Director of Sales at Hotel St. Barth Isle de France.

Originally from New York, Christy studied at the University of Rhode Island where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies. Christy is a proud mother of 16 years old twin girls Kate and Clare. She has a deep love for dogs, good food and wine and of course friends to share it with. She also likes interior designing.

Set within more than 100 acres of pristine rainforest in the embrace of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Val des Pitons, Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort, offers breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea and the Pitons, along with all of the 18th-century Colonial charm that St. Lucia is known for. Sitting on the site of an old sugar plantation, the resort boasts a variety of different luxury rooms, cottages, bungalows and villas — each with its own private plunge pool. Travelers of all ages and passions will enjoy all of the land, air and sea activities, from hiking and ATV biking to ziplining and diving, not to mention the selection of immersive experiences that allow guests to get a feel for the local culture and history. The resort’s Rainforest Spa boasts individual treatment rooms housed in their own unique treehouse, where guests can indulge in signature experiences like bamboo massages, hot rock therapies and holistic treatments, each harnessing the ingredients of nearby volcanic springs and fertile cocoa plantations.
