DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (July 9, 2018) – Summit Hospitality Management Group has announced the appointment of Androse Bell as general manager of the new Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach, overseeing day-to-day operations and the (175) rock star team. A familiar face in the Central Florida hospitality industry, Bell was promoted from director of rooms at Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach to general manager of the recently opened, 200-room, beachfront property.

“We’re fortunate to have had Androse as part of our hotel team from construction through grand opening,” stated Efrain Silva, vice president of operations for Summit Hospitality Management Group. “He’s very familiar with the brand, the destination and our company culture, which has allowed him to step into this position with no ramp-up time needed.”

Prior to joining Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach as director of rooms, Bell was the manager of the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton, a 207-room all suite property in Melbourne Beach, Fla. Before the DoubleTree, he spent four years at the four-diamond oceanfront Shores Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach Shores, where he held several positions, the final one being director of rooms. Bell earned a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from Bethune Cookman University and a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from Keiser University. He has also completed management training programs with Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Opened in May 2018, the highly-anticipated Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach has taken center stage as the destination’s newest beachfront hotel and the fourth Hard Rock Hotel in Florida. The new music-inspired oceanfront property has introduced exclusive offerings, innovative programming and guest amenities previously available in the Daytona Beach market.
