LOS ANGELES, June 22, 2023 – The Biltmore Los Angeles, part of Millennium Hotels & Resorts, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tiffany Zimmer-Penton as General Manager of the property. Joining the beaux-arts institution as it celebrates its 100-year anniversary in 2023, Tiffany is responsible for all operations of the 683-room property, including sales and marketing, guest rooms, food and beverage, meetings and events facilities, and will work closely with the team to ensure memorable visits and stays for local residents and hotel guests.
“This is a great opportunity for me at an exciting moment for The Biltmore Los Angeles as we celebrate the remarkable history of the hotel and the role it has played in the growth of the entertainment industry and the city around it,” noted Tiffany of her appointment. “As General Manager, my focus will always be elevating the guest experience while simultaneously paying homage to the traditions and core of The Biltmore. As we celebrate this historic centennial, we’ll mark the celebration in grand fashion and rally our team to provide the finest hospitality into the next 100 years.”
Tiffany Zimmer-Penton enjoyed a rewarding career in management leading up to her 2023 appointment at The Biltmore Los Angeles. She arrived at the property from The Millennium Hotel, Minneapolis where, as General Manager starting in 2022, she oversaw a soft relaunch and guided an ongoing, $1 million renovation of the guestrooms. The hotel closed in December 2012 to undergo extensive renovations including a full remodel of all 321 guest rooms and public spaces, upgrades technology and amenities, and a new modern, relaxed and refined look. Tiffany arrived at the property as General Manager in 2022, and reintroduced the property as a key player within the market.

Starting her career as a front office and reservation intern at the Crowne Plaza in New York and Germany, Tiffany is a seasoned hospitality professional and brings over 20 years of hotel leadership experience to her new role. Previous positions in leadership include General Manager of the Sheraton Bloomington Hotel in Minnesota; General Manager of Hyatt Regency Bloomington at Mall of America; Opening General Manager of Hyatt Centric Downtown Minneapolis; and Opening General Manager of AC Hotel by Marriott Minneapolis Downtown, where her performance brought awards for revenue, profit and owner confidence. Zimmer-Penton also spent one year as Regional Director, West Coast overseeing high-volume accounts for AAA Parking in Los Angeles, and was a part of the opening as the Director of Operations and Revenue Management for The Line Hotel LA, a lifestyle hotel.
Born in Texas and raised in Germany, Tiffany earned a German diploma in business administration with a major in tourism and travel management from the University of Applied Science in Worms, Germany. She is fluent in English and her native tongue, German. Outside of work, Tiffany is dedicated and devoted in her home life as well. She is a wife and mother, stating, “I am a proud wife and mom of two beautiful young girls. They make me strive to provide my best at work.
