Howard Harris has been appointed general manager of The Boulders Resort & Spa in Carefree, Arizona. He is responsible for overseeing all operations at this luxury hideaway property that has earned a reputation as one of America's top golf resorts and a celebrated destination.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be back here in Arizona,” said Harris. “I look forward to maintaining the extraordinary level of service that The Boulders has earned over the years and welcoming back our loyal guests and new visitors.”

Harris has served in the hospitality industry for 23 years. He joins The Boulders, most recently, from Hilton Lake Las Vegas, where he served as general manager for three years and was lauded for his expertise and experience operating within the Hilton brand. He also served as president of the Las Vegas Hotel & Village Golf Association.

Previously, he held the general manager position at the Hilton Sacramento, California from 2006 to 2012. Earlier, he was the general manager of the Embassy Suites in Tucson, Arizona.

Harris began his career in hospitality at the Burbank Airport Hilton, California and quickly increased his responsibilities and experience within the company as the director of rooms at the Hilton Sacramento Hotel.

Harris holds an MBA degree from Fresno State University in California. He is an avid golfer and enjoys fly-fishing. He and his wife reside in Scottsdale.
