The New Orleans Boutique Hotel Names Parker Sams as Managing Director and Malissa Fagan as Director of Sales
NEW ORLEANS – October 3, 2023 – The Eliza Jane, a Hyatt Unbound Collection hotel, announced today the appointment of Parker Sams as managing director and Malissa Fagan as director of sales. The duo will join the leadership team at the historic 196-room boutique hotel offering guests a luxurious stay in the heart of New Orleans.
As managing director, Sams will oversee all day-to-day hotel operations including dining experiences and guest relations. A seasoned hospitality professional, Sams brings more than 15 years of industry expertise to the property. Prior to joining The Eliza Jane, Sams held leadership positions at several renowned properties including Highgate Hotels and Resorts, Sightline Hotels and Remington Hotels, even playing a role in the transition of Dallas’ “The Adolphus” property from independent to an Autograph Collection by Marriott.

As director of sales, Fagan will spearhead the sales team and assist with generating new business while also leading the property’s marketing efforts. Prior to joining The Eliza Jane, Fagan led sales and marketing efforts in several directorial positions at properties including Hotel Tonelle and Holiday Inn Express, St. Charles. Now a New Orleans resident, Fagan brings almost a decade of industry experience and sales knowledge to The Eliza Jane.
