Johann Friedrich Zwahlen Joins as Executive Chef and Maxine Jemison Joins as Director of Sales & Marketing

NEW YORK – Sept. 11, 2019 – The Harbor Club, a Hilton Curio Collection hotel located in St Lucia’s beautiful Rodney Bay, announced two new appointments to the hotel’s management team: Johann Friedrich “Fritz” Zwahlen as Executive Chef and Maxine Jemison as Director of Sales & Marketing. Zwahlen and Jemison have been brought in under the hotel’s recently announced Managing Director Lester Scott, whose goal is to elevate the hotel’s image and position it as the pinnacle of Saint Lucian hospitality.

Chef Zwahlen joins the team with three decades of experience and has led culinary teams at renowned properties such as Carillon Miami Beach Wellness Resort, Amanyara in Turks and Caicos, and the Amangala Resort in Sri Lanka. His culinary prowess has earned him global acclaim and with over two decades of experience in the luxury resort industry, Chef Zwahlen is uniquely poised to make the Harbor Club a culinary destination.

Also joining the team is Maxine “Max” Jemison, who comes to The Harbor Club from Eden Roc and Nobu in Miami. Ms. Jemison joins the team with an extensive experience in hotel sales and marketing, having worked for brands including Marriott, Starwood and Hilton. She will be responsible for managing the sales team with a focus on developing partnerships with corporate accounts, executing meetings and events, and coordinating destination weddings.
