(ATLANTIC BEACH, N.C., Feb. 8, 2024) — Crystal Coast Oceanfront Hotel – a newly renovated coastal retreat in Atlantic Beach, N.C. with all oceanfront rooms – is entering the new year with a new name and refreshed brand identity, while still delivering the genuine hospitality and coastal charm for which the property is known and loved. Formerly known as The Inn at Pine Knoll Shores, all oceanfront room hotel is ushering in a new era of modern elegance and unparalleled seaside experiences following its recent renovations.
Crystal Coast Oceanfront Hotel is a hidden gem within the close-knit community of the Crystal Coast, and the rebrand embraces seaside sophistication with fresh coastal colors and oceanic iconography. In 2023, the property completed an extensive renovation of over $2M led by Blue Water Development, a prominent real estate development and outdoor hospitality company. The renovation will continue throughout 2024, further enhancing the property with contemporary design elements and hues reminiscent of the local nature, while preserving the Inn’s original charm.

In conjunction with the hotel’s rebrand, the property will soon introduce a brand-new look and feel for its onsite restaurant, Rising Tide Seafood Company. The completely overhauled restaurant, opening Spring 2024, will offer a new space, elevated menu and refreshed atmosphere to Crystal Coast Oceanfront Hotel.
In addition to offering renovated spaces and amenities, Crystal Coast will present new activities for guests to enjoy in 2024. Indulge in a Morning Yoga session on the beach followed by mimosas or local draft beer; make a child’s dream come true by swimming with mermaids and getting their hair done to match a fairy; or be entranced by a laser show on the beach produced by Emerald Production.
Along with working with local industry professionals, contractors and architects, Blue Water Development collaborated with local community artists such as Jody Merritt, Stephen Moore, Janet Jaworski and Glenn Lamp to bring the vision of Crystal Coast to life. The property will also partner with a local artist to create an original mural for the hotel, coming soon.
