The Living Company (TLC) announced today that three veterans of the furniture industry will join its executive team as part of its continued expansion in the hospitality space. Beyond hospitality, TLC has experienced significant growth in the burgeoning workforce housing and co-living sectors. Through its University Furnishings brand, it is the leading supplier of furniture, fixtures, and equipment to off-campus student housing. Backed by Lee Equity Partners, TLC offers a comprehensive range of services, including design, sourcing, kitting, warehousing, delivery, installation, replacement, and rehabilitation.
According to President and CEO Paul Dougan, the additions to TLC’s hospitality management team are a direct reflection of the confidence the company has not only in its continued growth in hospitality but also in the future of the industry.

Robert “Bob” Bomholt is joining TLC as Executive Vice President of Business Development. With more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Bomholt brings expertise in sales, marketing, and operations. He previously served as VP/General Manager of Kimball Hospitality, where he delivered more than $100mm in annual case goods revenue. He has also held senior leadership roles with Pinnacle South and PremierXD, where he and Adam Gray originated the hospitality division. Subsequently, he partnered with Gray to found A2B Hospitality, where they utilized their shared experiences to create a new model for servicing the hospitality industry in its FF&E procurement efforts.
Gray has also joined the company and will serve as TLC’s Senior Vice President of Technical Sales, utilizing the experience he gained in a 20-year career with Kimball Hospitality and later with PremierXD and A2B Hospitality. His expertise includes technical sales, high-end custom product development, quoting/project management, order fulfillment, and logistics. While at Kimball, he played a critical role in their outsource model, spending a significant amount of time in Asia, helping to train internal staff and co-manufacturing partners.
Most recently serving at Kimball Hospitality, Tony Ferguson is TLC’s newly appointed Managing Director – Asia Operations. Ferguson’s career has included tenures at several leading furniture providers, including Standard Furniture, Home Meridian, Aspen, and La-Z-Boy. From his early career spent in North Carolina furniture manufacturing facilities to his experience leading operations in Asia, Ferguson has overseen engineering, product development, quality management, QA, logistics, and factory operations. Throughout his career, he has delivered millions of furniture pieces for prestigious hotels around the world.
