Mobile key and other features further elevate hotel’s service offerings
DALLAS (January 22, 2019) – The recently expanded Osage Casino Hotel in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has partnered with OpenKey, the industry standard for universal mobile key in hotels to deliver even more comfort to their guests. The casino and hotel is operated under the Osage Nation, the 25th largest tribe in the United States.
In August of 2018, the all-new Osage Casino Hotel in Tulsa reopened its doors after undergoing a major expansion project. The transformation has resulted in it becoming a prime casino hotel destination. With 80,000 square feet of gaming space, the casino features over 1,600 electronic gaming machines, and 16 table games. Gaming is available 24 hours a day, with live entertainment, dining and a brewery also on-site. Other amenities include 16,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space, 45,000-square-foot event center, gift shop and a fitness center. When looking to relax, guests can select from 141 rooms, including seven suites and four hospitality suites. From thoughtful furnishings with luxury finishes, beds with plush pillow top mattresses, artwork created by Osage tribal artists and a 120,000-gallon resort luxury pool, everything was purposely designed with guest comfort in mind. With the latest addition of OpenKey’s keyless room access, the casino and hotel continues to augment its guest service offerings.
“At Osage Casino Hotel, we continue to look for opportunities that can further enrich our current services,” said Byron Bighorse, Osage Nation CEO. “Our recent expansion speaks to us putting comfort and a one-of-a-kind experience first. We are confident that with OpenKey’s innovative technology we’ll be able to take the guest experience to new heights.”
Guests at the Osage Casino Hotel Tulsa will be able to enjoy their gambling time and entertainment without being concerned about a plastic keycard. In addition, they can receive room assignments, hotel directions and Wi-Fi access information directly to their smartphones via the OpenKey app.
“We are thrilled to welcome Osage Casino Hotel to the world of mobile key,” said Brian Shedd, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for OpenKey. “In the hotel industry, one thing you can’t gamble on is the guest experience. Mobile key is ideal for casinos where getting guests through the check-in process and onto the casino floor in a quick and efficient manner is directly related to revenue. Properties like Osage Casino Hotel who see value in delivering an exceptional guest experience understand that mobile key has become an integral part of a complete solution.”
The simple transition from plastic keycards to keyless entry has made OpenKey the top choice for hotels going through expansions, renovations or simply looking to upgrade. The innovative key technology works with most digital hotel locks worldwide, and is both user-friendly and affordable.
