NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – June 7, 2018 – The Resort at Pelican Hill® today announced the appointment of Simaan Hawa as director of sales. Hawa will support the 504-acre coastal destination’s initiatives to welcome the world’s most discerning travelers, including groups of 10 to 400 guests for meetings, incentives, conferences and special events.

Simaan Hawa returns to Pelican Hill, after serving as director of sales for Southern California’s Monarch Beach Resort. With more than 15 years of luxury hospitality sales experience, he served as director of national accounts for Pelican Hill and held sales management roles with Hotel Del Coronado and Four Seasons in San Diego. He graduated from University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration.
