In his role, D’Angelo is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the property and ensuring it continues delivering a five-star experience to both Owners and guests.

D’Angelo brings more than two decades of hospitality experience, most recently serving as general manager for Grand Hyatt Vail and Residences at Cascade Village. Prior to this role, he held various management positions at esteemed properties such as Wild Dunes Resort; Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, Nassau, The Bahamas; Grand Hyatt Nashville; and Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, among others. In addition to D’Angelo’s commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences, he is also a passionate leader, bringing an enthusiastic and engaging approach towards guiding his teams towards operational excellence.

Aside from his extensive residence club and resort experience, D’Angelo spent his early years traveling as an international piano entertainer. He is fluent in Dutch and lived in the Netherlands from 1998-2002, where he met his wife, Anja. After moving to Vail in 2022, they became active members of the community, enjoying the area’s arts, live music, and snow sports.
