WOODSTOCK, VT (June 24, 2020) – The Woodstock Inn & Resort welcomes Khim V. Neang as the new Spa Director to the resort’s LEED-certified, 10,000 square foot Spa in Woodstock, Vermont. Neang will lead the day-to-day operations, implement strategic business and marketing plans, and lead a motivated staff to exceed guest expectations.
“We are delighted to bring Khim V. Neang to the Woodstock Inn & Resort,” said John Hallowell, the President & Managing Director. “With a background as a massage therapist, human resources consultant, and spa director, she will bring valuable expertise and strong leadership skills to our team.”
Neang is a highly effective management professional with more than fifteen years of experiences in Human Resources and Wellness. Most recently, she was the Spa and Health Club Director at the Heritage Hotel Golf, Spa, and Conference Center in Southbury, CT. Before that, she was the Spa and Salon Director at Green Tangerine Spa and Salon in Canton, CT. In addition, Neang spent five years as the Spa Operations Manager at the Mayflower Inn and Spa in Washington, CT, and six years as a Massage Manager at Canyon Ranch in Lenox, MA.
The Spa at the Woodstock Inn & Resort is known for its nature-inspired ambiance with natural light, vaulted ceilings, and intimate therapy rooms for total mind and body relaxation. The space also includes a eucalyptus steam room, shaker wood stoves, and indoor and outdoor heated floors. Products that are organic and free from parabens, dyes, and harmful synthetics are offered, as well as ten treatment rooms, each with its own window, and an oversized couples massage suite.
The Woodstock Inn & Resort prepares to reopen on July 1 and the Spa and is currently accepting appointments. Operational changes have been implemented in a set of Stay Safe Guidelines, created in accordance with American Hotel & Lodging Association’s (ALHA), the State of Vermont’s RestartVT Task Force, and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
