Brooklyn, NY– February 15, 2018 – Trilogy Spa Holdings announces the appointment of Rose Brenkus as spa director of Bamford Haybarn Spa at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge. With more than a decade of experience in the spa industry, Brenkus will implement business-driving initiatives and marketing strategies to grow Bamford’s presence in North America, while transforming the second Bamford Haybarn Spa in the US into Brooklyn’s top wellness retreat for New York City locals and visiting tourists.
In this position, Brenkus’ responsibilities will include increasing revenue and building guest loyalty at the 5,000-square foot spa, renowned for its unmatched commitment to natural and organic beauty products. Brenkus will rely on her team of therapists with a personal interest in holistic health and her previous experience as a spa director in Savannah, Georgia, to cultivate a strong following of Bamford enthusiasts in the local market. Dedicated to personalized service, Brenkus' team of 21 specialists will aim to connect with guests professionally and personally to create a customized spa experience designed around each guest’s individual skincare and wellness needs.
“Opening as the second Bamford Haybarn Spa in the US, we were committed to hiring a spa director with a set of personal beliefs that mirror Bamford’s own brand standards,” says Michelle Kinney, senior vice president of operations at Trilogy Spa Holdings. “An advocate for holistic health herself, Rose’s passion for living a thoughtful life will inspire each of her guests to implement Bamford’s core values of inner peace, spiritual balance and physical wellbeing into their daily lives.”
At Bamford Haybarn Spa, Brenkus will further foster the connection between wellness and travel by educating guests about Bamford’s skincare benefits, comprehensive offerings and techniques inspired by founder Carole Bamford’s international travels. She plans to work closely with the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge team to develop creative spa packages for groups and leisure guests. With an eye on current wellness trends, Brenkus aims to pursue partnerships which encourage business growth, further solidifying Bamford as one of New York City’s premier luxury spas.
New to New York City, Brenkus is a Florida native and southerner at heart who developed a passion for the spa industry while working at The Spa at The Breakers in Palm Beach during college. Subsequent roles as a spa treatment supervisor at Boca Raton Resort & Club and spa director at Heavenly Spa further honed her client-centric career philosophy. In her new role, Brenkus will combine her dedication to personalized client wellness with her enthusiasm for staff growth and development, encouraging her guests and team members to practice self-care outside of the spa environment. In her spare time, Brenkus can be found enjoying a quiet moment in one of New York’s many green spaces, practicing her art and working on pottery.
