NEW YORK – December 15, 2014 – TRUMP HOTEL COLLECTION™, the next generation of luxury hospitality, announces the appointment of Dan Wakeling to senior vice president, global hotel development and acquisitions. Mr. Wakeling, who joins TRUMP HOTEL COLLECTION with 15 years of hotel investment experience, is responsible for the brand’s strategic growth with a concentration on acquiring iconic properties and development opportunities in key gateway cities and resort destinations internationally.

Mr. Wakeling comes to TRUMP HOTEL COLLECTION with extensive hotel investment, development and acquisition experience, most recently serving as vice president of mergers and acquisitions at Kingdom Hotel Investments in Dubai. Previously, Mr. Wakeling led the United Kingdom and European hotel development business at private real estate investment firm Deerbrook Group in London. His career also includes positions as the director of real estate development and strategic relationships at Hilton Worldwide in London and senior hotel consultant at Dransfield Hotels & Resorts in Sydney, Australia.
