Indianapolis, IN – Thompson Thrift Retail Group (TTRG) is excited to announce that we are currently working with Dunn Hospitality Group to bring the dual branded – Hyatt Place and Hyatt House, to The Yard at Fishers District. This unique concept incorporates the two different hotels within a single six-story building of 211 rooms.

David Dunn, President and COO for Dunn Hospitality stated, "We had been analyzing various sites throughout the Indianapolis metro area for some time and were drawn to 116th Street due to the announced projects including Top Golf and IKEA and its close proximity to numerous other demand generators.” He added, “Once we became aware of Thompson Thrift’s development plans, we instantly recognized the opportunity and moved quickly. We feel fortunate to have been selected as their exclusive hospitality partner with this project.”

The hotel will be built by Dunn Hospitality Group’s own Hospitality Construction using ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms). This method of construction was recently used on Dunn’s Holiday Inn Express and Suites in downtown Louisville, KY and was named by the nationally recognized ICF Builder Awards as the 2017 Hospitality Project of the Year.

Both the Hyatt Place (125 Rooms) and Hyatt House (86 Rooms) will feature free Wi-Fi throughout the building with remote printing, free breakfast, a full-service restaurant with room service and bar open in the evenings, on- site laundry, an indoor pool, 24-hour StayFit Gym, and up to 3,000 square feet of shared flexible meeting space. The extended stay rooms of the Hyatt House will also offer a fully equipped kitchen.

Dunn anticipates the completion of the hotel to be 15 months from the start of construction and will plan to hire approximately 50 employees for the completed project.

"We wanted to have a hotel on site and working with Dunn Hospitality Group made that happen. We are very appreciative to be working with such an experienced and talented hotel development company. Their years of experience and excellent reputation has proven to be an asset to this development.” Ryan Smith, Vice President, Retail Sales and Leasing for TTRG.

The Yard at Fishers District is an exciting addition to the rapidly expanding City of Fishers, voted #1 place to live by Money Magazine, and will service as the perfect complement to its adjacent neighbors, Topgolf and IKEA.
