PHOENIX (Jan. 11, 2023) – Royal Palms Resort and Spa, an award-winning luxury Phoenix resort and member of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, today introduced Tyler Stirrett as its new general manager. A seasoned industry leader and 21-year Hyatt veteran, Stirrett is primed to continue evolving and elevating the Royal Palms guest experience at the celebrated desert resort as it approaches its milestone 75th anniversary next year.

Stirrett completed his education at Niagara College and Southern New Hampshire University with studies focused on hospitality management and administration. He began his career in 1999 as the assistant outlets director at Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, Calif., and quickly progressed within the Hyatt organization, demonstrating a clear prowess for hospitality leadership. Throughout his career, he has held titles including outlets director, banquets director, director of food and beverage and director of operations with celebrated Hyatt properties including the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque and Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa in New Mexico and the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa in Poipu, HI. He most recently served as the director of operations at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa & Casino in Incline Village, Nev. where he oversaw revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction within each department of the property. As the general manager of Royal Palms Resort and Spa, Stirrett manages day-to-day hotel operations, guest relations and property development, upholding and showcasing the top-tier experience the historic property has become synonymous with.
In his spare time, Stirrett enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters and exploring the outdoors. He is also an avid sports fan, citing the Toronto Maple Leafs and New England Patriots as his favorite teams.
