CHATTANOOGA, TENN. — June 22, 2021 — Chattanooga based, Vision Hospitality Group, Inc. and CBL Properties are pleased to announce the opening of the 135-room Aloft by Marriott in Chattanooga, TN. Located at the Hamilton Place Mall, the new hotel will mark the brand’s entrance into the Chattanooga market. The hotel will be operated by Humanist Hospitality, a wholly owned subsidiary of Vision Hospitality Group.

Known for its trendy style and vibrant social scene, the Aloft brand uses technology and design to enhance experiences and keep up with the needs of the modern traveler. The Aloft Chattanooga Hamilton Place features an urban-inspired design with loft-like guestrooms with airy 9-foot ceilings and the area’s first rooftop bar and lounge – a rare amenity for a suburban property in a mid-size city.

“Experiences are the new commodity, and Aloft Hotels get that,” said Mitch Patel, Vision Hospitality Group President & CEO. “The brand incorporates technology, design and culture to set it apart from the traditional hotel, and we look forward to bringing this new experience to our hometown of Chattanooga. We value our long-standing relationship with CBL Properties, as well as the opportunity to be a part of this special redevelopment at Hamilton Place. Our connection to the community and commitment to its success are significant, and we are excited to open this hotel as part of this area’s transformation.”

“We are thrilled to have partnered with Chattanooga-based Vision Hospitality Group to bring the unique experience of Aloft to Chattanooga as part of the Hamilton Place Sears redevelopment project,” said Stephen Lebovitz, chief executive officer of CBL Properties. “We are actively executing our vision to transform our properties into suburban town centers that offer visitors a variety of experiences. The addition of Aloft by Marriott complements the broader Hamilton Place redevelopment plans, which include the addition of The Cheesecake Factory, Dave & Busters as well as class “A” office space, additional dining options and new retail.”

Made-to-order, nutritious food options and prepared items for on-the-go are available at Re:fuel from morning to midnight. The hotel also features the Re:mix lounge, a fresh, social environment where guests are brought together. Travelers and locals alike are encouraged to discover live, acoustic performances from emerging artists at the roof top WXYZ lounge, where they can also discover a curated menu of sharable plates and craft cocktails.

The Aloft Chattanooga Hamilton Place will be located off of Interstate 75 at the Hamilton Place Mall. The new hotel will join the 200 acres of eateries and retail shops that attract approximately twenty million visitors annually. Only fifteen minutes from downtown Chattanooga, the Aloft will provide guests easy access to Chattanooga’s largest attractions, including the Tennessee Aquarium, Hunter Museum of American Art, Rock City and Ruby Falls.
