Lake Buena Vista, Fla. – Jan. 23, 2017 – The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort has named Aaron Weegar as new director of sales as the property prepares to complete the final phase of a $140-million-dollar renovation, its largest to date.
Aaron Weegar has been appointed director of sales at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day efforts of the resort’s sales team at the 2,267-room property.
Weegar returns to the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin having previously served as the resort’s account director for the Northeast market where he and his team consistently exceeded sales goals. Most recently he was the Director of Sales at The Diplomat in Ft. Lauderdale where he led the property’s sales team through a successful brand transition while continuing to meet goals.
Weegar has more than 10 years of hospitality sales experience and is a graduate of The University of Findlay in Ohio.
