Holiday Party Ideas and Incentives Designed for Giving this Holiday Season

LEESBURG, VA, October 2018 … West Belmont Place Event Center at The National Conference Center created three corporate and family holiday party ideas to help planners, companies and associations (big and small) give back to the community and help those less fortunate during the season. In a year with so much attention on individuals’ rights, The National shows what corporate social responsibility events can do for a team. The passion for giving back exists in every one; it just needs an opportunity to shine.

A great holiday party contains three important characteristics: Atmosphere, Decor and Refreshments (food and beverage). Add in the spirit of giving, and it’s bound to be a wonderful night for everyone.

This year West Belmont Place offers 3 Unique Holiday Party Ideas complete with décor and activities that support a company’s mission. For example, A Family Affair is perfect for the corporation or association that has a true family-work balance policy. In addition to a festive party, West Belmont Place’s culinary team will prepare a variety of sugar and gingerbread cookies for party goers and their families to decorate, creating a stress-free environment for parents and fun-filled day for the kids. See more on West Belmont Place’s blog.

The second party idea is Deck the Hall Green. The National and West Belmont Place have held the Green Seal™ Silver rating for more than 10 years, along with the Virginia Green™ certification. The National’s Green Team, along with Food and Beverage Director Todd Goldian, create celebratory and hyper-local menus, and include with the party a trip to one of Loudoun County’s Christmas Tree Farms to pick out a wreath or tree (the group can even decorate a tree at The National for holiday teambuilding), concluding with a sing-along with a local choral club around the fire pit while toasting marshmallows for S’mores. See more at the West Belmont Place blog.

There is no better teambuilding then Helping Others. West Belmont Place works closely with many local non-profits and can help a planner find the cause that fits a corporate mission. It could be sorting toys for the Salvation Army’s Toys for Tots, which is housed at The National, or it could be putting together food baskets or emergency kits for one of the many shelters and non-profits in Loudoun County. Party goers can celebrate while helping others. See more at the blog.

Additional incentives are available for meeting and event planners who book a holiday party by November 10, including:

  • An interactive dessert station.
  • A complimentary ice sculpture with company or association logo.
  • Complimentary champagne toast at reception or dinner.
  • Two complimentary hors d’oeuvre selections.

If a Holiday Party contract is $5,000, one incentive can be added; $10,000 contract, two incentives can be added and $15,000 contract, three incentives can be added. All this while doing something wonderful this holiday season for party goers and local charities and non-profit organizations.

Whatever the stated mission for a holiday party, West Belmont Place is here to make every event a success and meaningful.
