CHARLESTON, S.C. – June 8, 2022 – Wild Dunes Resort proudly announces the appointment of Nico Scherman as General Manager. In this role, Scherman will be responsible for managing the resort’s day-to-day success and overseeing all operational aspects of the 1,600-acre property, including everything from marketing to resort operations, while maximizing company revenue.

A seasoned leader in the hospitality industry for more than 20 years, Scherman joins Wild Dunes Resort most recently from Quirk Hotels & Galleries as Area General Manager. A graduate of San Diego State University, Scherman started his career at La Costa Resort & Spa, then moved into key positions with Four Seasons and Hyatt, including Corporate Director of Food & Beverage.
