Boston, MA – June 30, 2021 – YOTEL Boston, known for its smart design and technology-driven guest experience in the heart of the Seaport, is proud to announce the appointment of Julia Greenwald as director of sales and marketing.
Greenwald brings a wealth of hospitality knowledge and expertise to the 326 ‘cabin’ hotel and will be responsible for overseeing YOTEL Boston’s sales and marketing efforts. In her role, Greenwald will focus on maximizing hotel revenue by growing existing accounts and generating new business, including meetings and events. Her tremendous background in business travel and group sales encompasses experience from previous roles with Marriott International, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, and Omni Hotels and Resorts.
Greenwald brings over ten years of in-market experience to the position. For the last four years, Greenwald has helmed local sales teams at the AC Hotel by Marriott Boston Cleveland Circle and AC Hotel by Marriott Boston North. Prior to these roles, she was responsible for cultivating new and existing business relationships for six properties in Starwood Hotels and Resorts’ Boston collection including Westin Copley Place, Sheraton Boston, W Boston, Westin Boston Waterfront, Aloft Boston Seaport and Element Boston Seaport. Greenwald is a graduate of Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts and brings a bespoke sense of hospitality to the YOTEL family with Masters of Music in Musicology from the New England Conservatory.
