Washington, DC, September 14, 2015 - The American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation (AH&LEF), the not-for-profit affiliate of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA),awarded 380 scholarships totaling $730,500 this year -38% of which were to minority hospitality management students. Washington, D.C., August 11, 2015 - The American Hotel and Lodging Educational Foundation (AH&LEF), the not-for-profit affiliate of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA), awarded $730,500 through 380 scholarships to students studying hospitality. The Annual Scholarship Grant Program, the foundation's largest, is co-administered with 71 universities and colleges. In 2015, 243 students, nominated by AH&LEF affiliated schools, were awarded $422,000 in funds.
