NewcrestImage Celebrates Groundbreaking of Three-Hotel, 300-Room Hotel Campus in Amarillo, Texas

NewcrestImage continued its reputation as a developer of innovative and distinctive hotels when it broke ground Thursday, June 1, on the first property of a three-hotel, 300-room "hotel campus" on a 5-acre site in western Amarillo at Interstate 40 Frontage Road and South Soucy Road -- an intersection described by the Texas Department of Transportation as one of the city's busiest. The 94-room Tru by Hilton is expected to open in mid-2018. The two other hotels in the complex will be a Hyatt Place and an Aloft, which is a Marriott International brand.
