Sept. 06--When they redesigned Tomorrowland in the '90s, the folks at Disney World culled ideas from long-ago science fiction writers to create a retro look ahead. The Future That Never Was, they called it. Basically, it was a lot of kitsch and coasters with little in common with reality.
