In an attempt to attract younger guests, new hotel franchises are emerging. These recent flags are shifting away from emphasizing larger room sizes and in-room offerings in favor of more common amenities which also have an emphasis on technology. Today there are fewer than 100 dual-branded hotels in the United States. Based on data collected from Hotel Market Data, there are currently 46 dual-branded hotels under construction in the US, with another 41 in the planning stages that will likely begin construction within the next 12 months.
