Grand Canyon National Park’s Iconic El Tovar to Close Early 2017 for Major Rehabilitation

GRAND CANYON, Ariz. – December 21, 2015 – Grand Canyon National Park's El Tovar, a true icon among national park hotels, will close Jan. 1, 2017 for a major rehabilitation that will include substantial improvements to the building's back-of-the-house facilities as well as public areas and guest rooms. The hotel will reopen April 14, 2017.
