NEW YORK, NY – July 7, 2017 – The Renaissance New York Midtown Hotel is pleased to announce the appointment of Esther Wells as the new Director of Sales and Marketing. In her role, Wells will lead all group and transient sales efforts and manage strategic marketing partnerships for the 348-room hotel, which opened in March 2016. Wells has been with Marriott International for six years, most recently coming from the Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center as the Director of Sales and Marketing where she was on the Opening Executive Committee of the 317-room hotel designed by architect Danny Forster.
