3 March 2016, London: European hotel transaction volume totalled €23.7 billion in 2015, a record level and an increase of 66% on the previous year, according to the annual European Hotel Transactions report, published this week by HVS and its brokerage and investment services division HVS Hodges Ward Elliott. The year outperformed pre-downturn levels driven by an extremely active portfolio transactions market.
