Atlanta-based Hospitality Lodging Systems (HLS) has added two Budgetel Inn & Suites brand properties and two Haven Hotel brand properties to its portfolio. There are now 37 Budgetel hotels with 3,813 rooms operating in 10 states plus China and 12 Haven properties with 698 rooms in nine states. The new Budgetel hotels are both in metro Atlanta – a 218-room conversion from Clarion, located on the north side of the city’s high-visibility perimeter ring highway, and a 121-room property in suburban Lilburn. Hospitality Lodging Systems (HLS) grew during 2021 by 16% in hotels and 21% in rooms, ending the year with 73 hotels and 5,967 rooms. Of these properties, 42 with 4,201 rooms operate under the Budgetel Inn & Suites brand; 21 with 1,171 rooms operate under the AmeriVu Inn & Suites brand; and 10 with 595 rooms operate as Haven Hotel.
