Hotel Industry Foundation Awards Over $1 Million in Academic Scholarships to Hospitality Students Nationwide

WASHINGTON (September 6, 2022) – The American Hotel & Lodging Foundation (AHLA Foundation) awarded over $1 million to 336 hospitality program participants for the 2022-23 academic school year. This year’s diverse pool of recipients includes 51% students of color and 72% female students ranging in age from18 to 70. With six-affiliated HBCU schools, the AHLA Foundation continues its strong tradition of supporting the future of hospitality by providing financial assistance to these deserving scholarship recipients.
