New Labor Department Regulation Will Harm Hotels and Independent Contractors

WASHINGTON (Jan. 10, 2024) – American Hotel & Lodging Association President & CEO Chip Rogers issued the following statement today after the Department of Labor released a new regulation that radically changes the way workers are classified as independent contractors or employees.
