Legoland Florida Resort Sets 2020 Opening Date for Pirate Island Hotel in Winter Haven

May 23-- May 23--WINTER HAVEN -- Legoland Florida Resort is now taking reservations for Pirate Island Hotel and has set an opening date of May 22, 2020. The Winter Haven attraction announced plans in January to build a second hotel. The existing Legoland Hotel opened in 2015. The theme park also announced that it will open a 9-hole miniature golf course on Friday. The course is open only to hotel guests. In what Legoland calls a "limited-time offer," the booking of two nights at Pirate Island Hotel yields one free night.
