UK, 1 August 2024 – Brits are now making more hotel bookings on mobile devices than desktops for the first time, new research from SHR reveals1. The hotel technology specialist found that mobile bookings have overtaken desktop for UK staycations, with more than half of bookings (51.3%) made on a smartphone device over the last year – a 6.1% increase from the previous year.
